Hello friends! I’m finally sharing a project I have been working on for the past several months. My lovely client contacted me to ask for little help decorating her newly renovated house. The house was a traditional Craftsman home to begin with. They wanted to maintain the Craftsman details, but they wanted to update it to today’s standards. My clients love a very serene, pale, neutral aesthetic. They used the perfect finishes in this home. I was so excited to begin working with such a beautiful palette! From the pale, driftwood feel in the hardwood floors, to the traditional crisp white woodwork, gorgeous quartz countertops, and pale wall colors, this place was so ready to be dressed up!
Take a look at the before photos to see what things looked like before I decorated it. Keep in mind, my clients just hung on to some old pieces of furniture to ‘live in’ until the construction was finished. They also used some temporary tables and furnishings to get them by.

We decided to use neutral furniture pieces, and use the client’s favorite color palette of gray, white, cream, blue, and green. I furnished the entire room with pieces from Restoration Hardware and accessories from Home Goods and Pottery Barn. The sofa and area rug are special orders from the design trade.

Kids’ Workroom Before
I added three desks and chairs from Pottery Barn Kids, for the family’s three growing children. The art and Fall garland are from HomeGoods.
It’s right before Halloween, so we just added this fun, skull garland for the holiday! I love these pieces of animal art!
Each kiddo gets their own locker to store school work, art supplies and goodies! They are from Organized Living. We just decorated the tops for a little Halloween fun! Accessories from HomeGoods.
For some reason, I can’t seem to find my ‘before’ photos of the kitchen. But, everything was beautiful to begin with. The floors, cabinets and counters were perfect! My client also had an existing table and chairs and chandelier. I just added all of the accessories.

I guess I forgot to take pictures of the other side of this room! I’ll be adding these soon!
I don’t have before’s of this room, but it was basically empty, with lots of legos stored in tubs. My client wanted to create a cool room for the family for watching TV, playing and making music, and doing arts and crafts. Take a look at what we’ve done so far. We’ll be adding a TV to the wall, too.
