The end of 2016 is here! It’s been a very good year, but I’m excited to see what 2017 will bring. I still have my Christmas decor up, but I plan to take it down after the New Year celebrations. In the meantime, I’ve created a pretty little outdoor cocktail party area in my side patio, to host a few friends. In California, the weather has been dry, but a little cold. So, I wanted to take advantage of having a little outdoor celebration, while we still can!
This is an area off the side of our house, just off the kitchen. We love this little eating area that we’ve created here. It’s the perfect, cozy spot for bbq’s and cocktails. You can see more of this space here. The picnic table set can be found here.
This fire pit brings just the right amount of warmth. I’ve also added a few cozy blankets and pillows from HomeGoods to keep everyone cozy.
We just wanted to serve champagne and a champagne cocktail out here, so I’ve kept my table simple and pale in color. The flat basket is perfect for carrying my cocktail glasses outside, and I’ve lined it with a couple of pretty pink linens, found at HomeGoods.
These pink glasses are vintage, pink depression glass that my mom found for me at an antique store. The gold polka dots glasses are from HomeGoods. The candle stick and candle are from Marshall’s. The copper pot that is housing my champagne, is actually a flower pot that I found at Safeway. The gold bottomed vase is also from Safeway! Check out the floral department for Debi Lilly products, I love them!
Here are a few shots of the space at night!
The clock on the back fence is something I made myself, from recycled wood.
I hope you’re inspired to enjoy your outdoor spaces!
