The Dining Room
The New Year is just around the corner, so let’s get ready to decorate for a party! Let me show you how I have put together a beautiful, sparkling dining room, perfect for entertaining and celebrating for the stroke of midnight!
I found these festive table lines at HomeGoods, and built my look around them! They’re perfect for New Year’s Eve, but can be used for any other party occasion as well. All of the decor you see here is from HomeGoods.
I wanted to use my ‘everyday’ pink plates, but I dressed them up by layering a pretty plate setting. These gold polka dot paper plates have a great shape and shimmer.
I placed it on my pink plate, and then laid my linen champagne napkins atop.
You could also try a square plate for an interesting dimensional plate setting.
Finally, I added a festive holiday popper to the plate setting for a pop of fun!
I picked up a box of paper NYE party pieces to add to my table decor. They look great, but will also be fun to use!
I created a centerpiece using a bouquet of faux roses, and another with real roses.
These gold confetti champagne flutes are ready for some bubbly.
I also brought my bench over from the living room and placed it at the table. It opens up the area in front of the table, so your guests can see the table well. It’s always fun to shop your own home to create a new look!
The Bar Table
I wanted to create a small bar cart area, without an actual bar cart! So, I used this mirrored glass table and decorated it with bottles of bubbles and beautiful blush glassware.
A candle and a few other blush, sparkly pieces completed the look over in this corner.
The Console Table
Next, we hung our favorite ‘curtain’ twinkle lights on the wall to create the perfect backdrop for this console table (found on eBay).
Candles, cocktail plates and accessories, and a cute little gold garland to dress up little miss Fox.
These lamps are favorites! I found them a few years ago, but I love how they look neutral or impactful, depending on what I put around them.
A paper garland, that I bought for a birthday party, matched the theme so I hung it too!
New Year’s Eve entertaining is a favorite of mine, and I hope you’re inspired to head over to HomeGoods to find your perfect NYE look!
