The kids and I are on vacation for two weeks for the holidays, so I’ve been busy, trying to keep them busy!! We’ve decided to stay local this week, but I’ve promised them a few fun adventures and activities to keep everyone happy. Pink Cupcakes came to mind, and here’s why..
My girls have been reading Pinkalicious books, and one was all about how she made pink cupcakes with her Mom. In the story, Pinkalicious ate too many cupcakes, and turned pink! Ha! We won’t be doing that, but it did prompt us to make some of our own pink cupcakes.
I have to admit, they turned out great, and I’ve really gotten into the pink mode myself! I’ve brought a little bit of pink and blush into the kitchen, and I’ve put away the Christmas decor in the kitchen. Cake stand, linens, and vase from HomeGoods. Milk bottles from Marshall’s.
I still have my tree up, in the background!
A pretty little coffee cup, and a pink hand towel fromHomeGoods.
When my grill is not in use, I think it’s the perfect spot for a little vase filled with flowers! Vase and flowers from Safeway.
Happy New Year!!
